Hi there. Per the vendor, there is no standard or recommended practice for air sanitizers to determine the area that it can clean.
That said, this would be great for small rooms - kitchens, bathrooms, mud rooms, pet areas, etc.
Just received mine. They do not have a built-in USB port as stated in the description.
