Just what I was waiting for, Steak Knives!!! Now if only I could buy a set or three.
Anyone else having a problem getting ths home.woot to load? Tried clicking on the picture, tried clicking “I want one” and they all resulted in 500 server error messages.
I’m getting an error (only on Home.Woot) when I click the “read more” link.
So to get a pear set, should I order ebony? Or pear? I’m not sure.
You are lucky if you can order, all a lot of us are getting are errors when trying to buy.

FYI: According to HSN these are made in China. It’s odd to me, seeing as how these are so heavily marketed for their Japanese Steel.

Definitely beats the price on amazon (except the yellow ones are pretty close $23.59)
I’m going to hang out for a while and keep trying to order a few sets of these knives. If I can’t get them tonight, I’ll try again in the morning.

Here is the original commercial from way back when in case you feel like nostalgia’n.
I got a set of ginsu knives (not these specific ones) about 6 months ago during a woot-off I didn’t expect much because they were a ‘seen on tv item’ but I was pleasantly surprised. The set I bought is still going strong and just as sharp as the day I got it.
I only wish I had some bigger knives, and sadly this does not fit the bill of bigger ginsu.
Maybe you could make a ginsu woot plus soon woot? please?
