Give us your Feedback! User Interface for Future Woot! Search

Hey guys! Here at Woot!, we like to think that we listen to our customers. One of the most asked for features for the last ten or more years has been for a site search engine. During this time, we’ve worked hard testing out different options and we’ve come up with something that we think will really resonate with our customers.

We’re pleased to introduce you to “MORLIPPY”, the new search icon for Woot! An Amazon Company!

Take a look and tell us what you think! We’re really excited about this design and to hear what you think.

A monkey head, ok. But that body brings back too many horrible memories!

Just return random results for any search term. It’s kind of how the mothership does it anyway.

They already have the randomizer

Need I remind you of the B0C search engine?

Not everybody wants aB0C to come up when they do a search!

The icon should be a magnifying glass but with the “glass” portion being a creepy winking eye that follows you

Ugh. It reminds me of all the pop-ups from the late 90’s.

I miss the old Woot. The one from last week to be precise.

You ain’t kidding. I can type in a specific part number and get results that have absolutely NOTHING at all to do with what I’m looking for! I do not understand why they can’t limit search results to ONLY what the user is looking for. If there aren’t any results, then say that!

I’ve searched for penguin stuff, and got swimsuits.

It’s annoying though if you search for something and get, let’s say, 403 results, filter from lowest to highest, get to 973 results, throw in free shipping options, and then get 3,636 results.
