Now that is Woot efficiency. It’s going to break eventually so why not just do it from the start?
I know. I keep buying salad containers and every kind I’ve ever gotten, the clasp on the lid is always the failure point. I just want to be able to take my salads to work.

The issue might be with your salads.
If it helps, I got a set of Sterilite Ultra-Seal locking containers some years back in a BOC and I use them pretty much every day. I don’t see a full set on Amazon but they do have them for sale as individual containers or smaller one-size sets. Here’s one:
The lock on all four sides and have a thing on top that can be popped open to allow for moisture to be released. I drop things a lot and these containers have saved me many times. The latches have never broken on any of them. The ones I have are the rectangular style like in the link but there are newer ones I can’t vouch for.
Since the style is older they a big pricier, but they do work well.
I haven’t even put one in this container yet! You think it was intimidated?
I’ve been using this one for the last few months: Bentgo Glass Salad Container, 2-pack | Costco
MSO broke the clasp on his within the first week. We returned it and got another. He then broke that one too. I’m not sure how I’ve been able to keep mine for as long as I have but we have been blowing through salad containers for MSO.
Also, the one you linked has this warning:

I saw that and don’t get it, honestly. But I think they come from 3rd party sellers now so that may be related somehow.
