Google Pixel 3XL (Unlocked) (Not Pink)

Google Pixel 3XL (Unlocked) (Not Pink)

If it’s Not Pink, what color is it?

The color I see on the screen is not pink. I think that Google made up a “tongue in cheek” name of that phone’s color: Not Pink
Similarly, my kid once argued with me that a coat in a shade of dark mauve was pink. Well, it was a somewhat pinkish shade of mauve, but it was not pink.

That color gets questions every time. I hate you, Google.

Welcome to Woot! Similar to Amazon, we have a 30 day return policy. You can read the details HERE. If you’re not happy with your purchase of this phone, feel free to return it to us for a full refund.

Yes, these phones come with a “real” 6 month warranty from Google.

Google Pixel 3XL is supposed to have a one year warranty from Google. Any reason these only have 6 months?

My guess is because the 3 series will stop receiving security updates after October 2021. They are basically close to end of life.

I thought that too, and contacted Google support just to be sure. They said the updates and warranties are two separate things, and that Pixel 3 XL should be one-year from day of purchase. I’m thinking maybe these aren’t “NEW” new lol.

My second guess is these are the units they used for warranty replacements. Now that most of the phones in the field are past their warranties, they are releasing the held back inventory.

Heh. Sorry.

thanks

The units are 100% New. Google simply started the warranty clock on this batch of inventory when they sold it into the market. We haven’t been able to get access to this inventory until now and sadly about half of the warranty has already transpired.

I purchased the Pixel 3 (64 gb, not punk) on here for $169.99 and it was an unlocked Verizon phone with bootloader locked. I tried using it with my Metro by T-Mobile sim and did not work. I contacted Google Pixel support and they said it was locked to Verizon. I returned it.

This Pixel, too, shows as having a locked bootloader in the description. Could it be a Verizon phone?

Putting in your SIM and setting the APN should get you on your network.

Yes, this is an unlocked Verizon phone.

So will i be able to use this on metro ?

It should since Metro = T-Mobile. They’re GSM.

Always best to check with them if you’re not sure though.

I received mine today. The color is very very very faint pink. Looks like cream color. If you look at it the right way, you can detect a slight touch of pink.

The power button is unmistakeably pink.

I always use a phone case so color doesn’t matter.
