For $0.31/oz, I bit.
I like that they blend 2 of 3 with robusto bean:
- 2X caffeine
- low acid
Beans expire in best by SEP, but I’m a pothead

Why do people keep calling a “best by” date an expiry date. Coupons expire. Sale prices expire. People (eventually) expire too. Coffee beans simply get old. And how much “full fresh flavor” the beans have may change noticeably after the “best by” date but I don’t think they are “expired”. Case in point, there are several upscale purveyors of coffee who from time to time have offered “aged” beans and just like aged whiskey or cheese the price is appropriately higher. Nothing wrong with keeping your beans quite a while longer than the roasters recommended “best by” date, especially if you have an appropriate place to store them (I am fortunate enough to have an old fashioned “root cellar” even though I live in a fairly urbanized suburb of a major city. But if you are just going to have these in your pantry or kitchen cupboard, I would recommend you consume this in a less leisurely fashion.
And I’m currently experimenting with intentionally aging some beans in a porcelain crock with wood chipped from inside whiskey aging barrels.
Why someone has come to conclusion that they would expire in September?
I wish they had a “roasted on” date. That way I could tell how fresh the roast was. The 'Best by" dates are always subjective.
Quite true
