Per my experience with blueberries, I find that the Patriot berries are large, delicious, high producers. The berries can end up being around nickle sized in non-drought years. The blue jay berries I found to be smaller and pretty bland. You need to pick them at the exact right time otherwise they have no flavor. One of my most disappointing plants. I also recommend going to a local garden center and buying more mature plants.
Just received 8 dried up little sticks, some with roots, packed 2 to a sandwich bag with a tablespoon of humus in the bag. I’ve potted them, hoping for a miracle. So far, I’m underwhelmed. We’ll see how they look in 6 or 8 weeks…

Yeah mine also look completely dead. I’ll give them a little while but not holding much hope.
That’s the way they’re supposed to look as I understand it - bare roots. You plant them, keep them moist, and they take off.
I ordered this in 2018. 1 plant lived through the season.
From my 2018 order comments “I received my order of 4 blueberry plants. They were shipped in a plastic envelope, no padding. The plants are bare root and are about 3 inches in length, taken from a cutting of a larger blueberry plant. 3 of my 4 plants were shipped in a little soil so the roots stayed slightly moist, one plant was not in any soil. The plant shipped/stored in no soil was light, dry and brittle and thus dead. I immediately potted the other 3 plants. I’m disappointed there was no attempt at shipping the 4th plant in soil to keep the plant alive.”
Mine showed up looking dry as well. Will give it some time . Will woot refund is they don’t grow?

I received the same four dead sticks. I planted them as per the instructions, waited four weeks, and then threw the four dead sticks out.
