I agree with using a good dish soap yet in my experiences warm-hot water works better with oily/fatty cooking items.
(hubby cooks with olive oil a plenty and it leaves dark marks in fabric.) Alcohol can work just watch out for potential fading of fabric.

Classic iceberg lettuce.
Feta, tomato and cucumber.

came to Rockport for Father’s Day. first stop, split a caprese sandwich & had some Irish beer.
walked an hour to second spot. Riverwalk Brewing
they had a beer & donut flight special. sold!!
now the hour walk back to the car. oof

I got the grease stain out! Between the Dawn, rubbing alcohol, Spray n Wash, and Borax it’s gone and my shirt lives!
