My beef stew is in the oven (I bake it). I also made cranberry sauce, which I know does not go with beef stew. But I wanted to kinda channel my mother. It used to be fun to ride out a storm with her. Not so much fun alone.
And this isn’t a snowstorm, just cold rain and a little icing. Blechh!

Hahaha, I just put a can of cranberries in the refrigerator to cool off. I’m too lazy to make my sauce this time. Anyway, I’m going to have it with my soon to be made stew (if I get to the grocery store).

I’m taking four granddaughters (age 20 to 34) to McD’s for a light lunch tomorrow because after that we’re going to The Peach Cobbler Factory for huge desserts. Then back home to play cards with husband and me for a couple of hours. (The card playing is kind of a pity party because I asked really nicely.)

Here’s my go-to chicken recipe. I put it with some plain rice in a container and heat it up for lunch at the office. It goes really good with carrots.
Chipotle packet
Pour in 1-2 tablespoon of oil
About a cup of water
1-2lbs of boneless chicken. I use breasts or thighs.
Poke at it with a fork once in a while until it’s done. It’s a little spicy but not too much.

Can’t remember who had dyed their hair blue in here. But whoever it was could you tell us what kind of hair dye was used.
We have another friend who wants to dye their hair before shaving it (before chemo takes it). Thought your blue hair was pretty great looking.
Just wondering…
