Time to RELAX!
Playing- The Best of The Animals
Yeah it keeps happening to me as I try to get caught up on posts. Aaaaaarrrrg!
I hear you. I delayed picking up prescriptions because I had to walk to the store and didnāt want to deal with the heat or humidity.
Why did I wear pants to graveside services? It was family, they didnāt care about how good my butt looked.
And yeah, itās getting warm out there.
Went out for an amazing Mexican lunch.
This place really makes very authentic Mexican foodā¦
It was very good!
Yeah, I tried updating preferences but that hasnāt done anything yet. ARGH!
That sounds so good. I wish we had a local Mexican restaurant.
Get a Raven ZZ plant. I have never changed the pot it was in when I bought it and only have to water it once every 3 weeks.
If stored cool, dry, dark many seeds last 2 yrs, some more.
I always used Territorial or Burpee seeds and had fairly good luck with them being good quality. Most anything from last year I assume will be about 60% survival and itās usually better.
Corn seed- Iāve had them grow after 3+ yrs
Beans- usually 2 yrs.
Carrots- 1 yr
Squash- 2 yr but that really variesā¦
Tomatoes- 1 yr
It seems the smaller the seed, the less chance for survival (except weeds that are all fully viable for 42 decades)
Is it this one? Try turning it off. Or try turning it off and then back on again. Or try desktop mode. Then try turning that off.
Oooh those are pretty. They get fairly tall too.
Damn weeds
Yeah, I push it with seeds.
I love to collect seeds. The arugula produces a ton of seeds once it gets warm.
I think I need to sprout most of my seeds before planting, especially if they are not freshly acquired.
PURSLANE!!! CURSES!!
Mine was off. I turned it on. Didnāt hold my place when I came back to an open window. It was at the end and I had to scroll back. It is off now.
Eat it! EAT IT!
Indeed. Although mine is in the original 6" diameter pot, so the tallest it has got was about 10". They cycle occasionally, which at first I thought I was killing stalks, but then realized that news ones come in to replace them. Iāve had mine for over a year now.
My dad worked at the local ag store when I was a kid.
Heād have me and one of my friends do test runs with the bulk seeds every year.
Wet a paper towel, place 10 seeds in it, fold it, then put it in a ziplock bag. Wait a couple weeks, making sure they stay wet and warm. Once they germinate if itās less than 80% toss that batch and get fresh.
80% might be too high for you, but you get the idea.
That worked good too, but it has to be a non-hybrid plant of course.
To squeeze in a crop in the cool-cloud belt, I was stuck mostly with hybrids.
