Correct. Some people have other Greenworks yard tools and don’t need more batteries.

Reckon you best talk to manufacturers about it. They’re doing this more and more.

batteries in 80V model cost $200!! seriously
it was on sale w/ battery for 250… i debated buying a 2nd mower just for the battery
