Snagged mine at $29.99 a week ago at BHPhoto.

If this is delivered as downloaded software, why is there a $6 shipping fee?

Be aware that they will probably charge you to e-file your state return. This includes doing the state return, but not filing it, unless they’ve changed something.

That’s a booboo on our part. It’s updated.

One of the many things I like about Woot… Bought this at $39.99 this morning, and just received a note stating the price changed and Woot will be refunding me the $5 price drop.

woohoo!

I’ve used this software for years, and yep - in previous years H&R Block has charged you if you submitted the state return electronically. I’ve simply printed out the form and mailed it in to the state. blank that fee… I’ve not worried about it, though, since my state refund is usually very small or I owe money.

Great warning, dgingerich.

If this is delivered as downloaded software, why is the shipping date 10 days out?

That’s worst case. Still needs to be processed, tracking sent to us, and then we send tracking to you.

Bought this last year from Woot! for an amazing price and it worked great so I have been waiting for it to pop up again this year. My dilemma now is that it’s $12 more. (I guess that has to do with the list price going up by $10).

Decisions, decisions.

Just a heads up (since I almost hit buy on this) - if you get any 1099’s it appears this does not include 1099 support.

Thanks and sorry if I am being dense. I see the validation key in the stuff i bought now, but no download link, where do we download the software from?

This makes no sense. What do you mean by “1099 support”? As you go through the software it asks you about your 1099s and you just input a few numbers that are on your 1099s. It has worked this way for years. Decades, even.

I’m going off their graphic. They make it look like you need premium for 1099s.

OMG BHPhoto! That takes me back!

That’s interesting; thanks for answering. I do know that the Deluxe + State software asks for 1099s. 1099-INT and 1099-DIV forms from financial institutions, without a doubt. If you want, let me know specifically what you need and I’ll go into last year’s version and check.
