Hakol 3 Pack Motion Sensor Night Light

I was thinking about getting these for my parents to use on their stairs, but I don’t see how the rechargeable feature works. They are elderly and don’t often use rechargeable stuff so I’m looking for something they would actually follow up on as I think lasting “90 days” on a charge is a stretch.

Is the charge via USB? I don’t see that a charger is included.

I think this says the batteries are permanently installed, so something must be detachable from what gets stuck to the wall?

Four motion sensing lights from woot that I bought last year mostly sit around dead, as they have to be plugged into a device and it is not convenient to gather them up and charge one by one blah blah only to last a few weeks.

There is a micro-USB port on the side of the device.

If it doesn’t come with a charging cable (though I would expect it does), it looks like it would be compatible with the older micro-USB cables, though I can’t say for sure.

Ordered 2 sets of 3 night lights for them, but only received 1 set :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Yes, cs form has been filled out, so no worries there.

Considering, since they are still available, whether I should buy another set… in my experience, cs seems to prefer the refund method, but then there won’t be enough to cover their whole staircase.

Wondering if these situations are what prompted the poll question the other day about reordering stuff :thinking:

For obvious reasons no reply to me yet, but I worry that CS will choose to refund me rather than replace the set I was shorted, as the sale ends today.

However I now would like to have a third set, as the item is exactly what I was looking for. With limit = 3, if I order a replacement for the one I was shorted, I cannot buy a third one (and thus may end up with only two sets after 2x shipping fees).

So, is there any employee on duty who might consider raising the purchase limit for me on this item to accommodate that issue? @davejlives maybe? I sent a message to @thunderthighs but no reply yet.

Hello. Sorry but this afternoon went a little cray-cray. I upped the limit to 4 and made a note on your order that you would like a replacement and not a refund. :crossed_fingers:

Thank you for your help. Did not order extra due to expecting the replacement.

I was away for a week but on my cams I saw UPS leave the package as instructed (YAY!) under the table on my deck (in case of rain). Opened it today when I got back.

Instead of the USB-charged set in this listing, the mailing bag contains 3 plain brown boxes, each with 6 of these electric (plug-in) night lights:

Just going to light up one of the two staircases at the 'rents house now.

Really just wanted to suggest you may not want to use the vendor again if they screwed up the replacement also. I don’t believe this was a warehouse item, but I could be wrong. Not going to contact CS again, as I can probably gift these. Unless for some reason woot might want them back?
