I don’t understand how this can be called Turbocharged. Yes, I see the ‘fan’ / pump, but it gets it’s power from the motion of the water around it, and calling it turbocharged implies that there is an added force or speed to the water that comes out of it. But there is no introduction of extra power or speed, just the ‘fan’/pump. But because of friction, the energy of the water turning the blades is removed from the water, actually slowing down the water, or removing pressure.
To ADD speed or pressure to the water, the blades would have to ADD energy to the water, through something like an actual electrical water pump.
I’m no scientist, but am I missing something here? It just seems like “salesmanship” (lieing) to call it “Turbocharged”.
(An ACTUAL turbocharger takes energy from the air, or engine, to shoot more fuel into the cylinders, causing a ‘larger’ or more energetic explosion, which pushes the crankshaft faster than it would otherwise. Here the extra energy actually comes from the extra fuel squirted into the cylinders. AKA turbocharging the engine.)
Similar to some “turbo” nozzles work with a power washer.
