Under features it states these mats are 1.18" thick. A listing for what appears to be the same item on Amazon (B07RT193RS) says they are either 0.6" or 0.5" thick depending where on the page one looks. Can someone confirm that 1.18" is the actual thickness of these mats? Thanks.
I have one from a previous Woot sale. That old listing also stated the 1.18" thickness. I just measured mine and it is about 0.5" thick. Now this is after about 18 months of use but I don’t believe it was ever close to 1.18".
Ingot one in a mega BOC. It probably is closer to .5”.
It is certainly thinner than our previous but is still comfortable and looks a little fancier.
They probably meant 1.18 cm. That’s .4646 inches.
I also got one in a BOC. Mine was in my crappy birthday BOC. I don’t know if it’s the exact same one, but I like having it by the sink.
I got mine over a year ago, I think. My cheap $10 one had far more cushion and was easier to clean. You can’t easily clean this because of the woven design. It’s definitely my most disappointing Woot! Purchase (to be fair, I did pay at least a few dollars more then than it is now).
On the pro side, it is better than the floor once you get used to the feel of the rough surface. And it is a nice size. It doesn’t slip around, but it’s also easy to slide it over to wherever I need it.
What cheap one did you have cuz being in the kitchen makes my back hurt these days.
I have five (5!) of these. Got 1 and liked it so much I just kept buying more. Bought some for my mom who mentions how much she loves them all the time. I prefer that there are thinner – the first type of this mat that I bought from Costco probably was 1.18" thick and I tripped over it all the time. Hated it. Robot vacuum couldn’t deal with it. These are comfortable, but still an easy height to deal with and they look really nice. So now I’ve got 1 in front of the stove, the sink, in front of 2 spots I like to stand while I prep food and then one I accidently bought in the wrong color in my laundry room
I think it was from the hardware store. Sorry I can’t help more! It might be best to shop in person for these.
