A refurbished hard drive? Eesh.

Well I bought 3 of these, and am very disappointed.

2 out of 3 refuse to be recognized by every computer I’ve tried. Not only in Disk Management but even in the BIOS.

These drives were also shipped very poorly. Yes, they were in Anti-static bags, but they were just left to rattle around in a cardboard box. No packing material of any kind, not even Texas Air. These aren’t Woot Monkeys, this is unacceptable.

This hard drive worked for 5 days then died. Now I’m in the 7th circle of Amazon hell trying to get someone to help.

I ordered one that came in an overly large, thinly padded envelope. It didn’t work, but make a nice clicking/grinding noise. Returned it for a replacement, which arrived in the same kind of poor packaging, and was equally dead…though it was quieter about it. At this point I have no faith that the third time will be the charm, so I’ll see if I can get a refund.
