What is the length of the Lines from the outside unit to the inside unit? I guess what the y call “Lineset”
Thanks,
Jon
It looks like 16.4 ft, in the instruction manual specks
“The length of refrigerant piping will affect the performance and energy efficiency of the unit. Nominal
efficiency is tested on units with a pipe length of 16.5ft. In North America”
Why was this deal half this price yesterday when I ordered? Now it is twice as much. I was refunded my money and told that these were sold out. Something is awfully shady about this!
The event yesterday was set up incorrectly.
There are two parts to this AC unit - the unit and everything you need to install it. Only the unit was sold yesterday so you would have been missing everything else.
We canceled those orders, set it up correctly, priced it for both parts, and here we are today.
Strongly disagree with this statement. You guys should be more transparent as to why. Just be honest that it was discounted too low, and price mistake was made. Instead blaming the description and piece counts as reason people’s orders were cancelled. Only thing that was wrong was the title which someone just did not copy and paste the rest of wording including the 2nd box. Obviously alot of us are returning customers and will continue to return regardless of order cancelled due to price mistake or not. being deceptive in reasoning is what would turn people away and use other sites. Whose ever order was cancelled should receive the $50 credit and email with cancellation vs just refund email. I have yet to receive mine.
Exactly. I have been buying from woot since before Amazon purchased them. Its pretty bad to be treated this way.
Does this unit come pre-charged with refrigerant?
That was my question, too.
Or, perhaps more correctly, is this a DIY kit that comes with the pre-charged lines, easy fits and accessories?
The refrigerant used in this unit, R410A, is being phased out due to environmental issues. Up until recently it was the preferred refrigerant. The remaining ones are all flammable. It looks like you’ll be able to get the refrigerant for the lifetime of this unit, as the end of the phase out is in 2037. Manufacture of units that use this refrigerant is stopping now.
120v or 240v? Description is 240v , specs is 115v. 9000btu or 12000btu both are listed. Never mind ,wrong listing . There are 2 sizes got on the wrong page by mistake.
Heya! It is very unclear if this 12000 BTU unit is 115v or 230v… There is a mic of information for the 9000 and 12000 units.
So can someone clarify for the 12000 BTU unit, what the voltage is?
Thank you very much!
Yes, DIY kit with precharged lines
Despite the listing, which indicated that the 9000 BTU is 115v, I can confirm that the 9000 BTU unit I received is a 230v.
I ordered the 9K BTU 115v but received the 12K BTU 230v. Check the part number on the outside of the box. 9K 115v is pn HME030356N, 12K 230v is pn HME030363N.
