I’ve had really good luck with my Hoover carpet cleaner. I went through two Bissell ones before finally trying the Hoover.
Are any attachments that come with it? If not can you buy them?
Is your Hoover this particular model?

I read that this doesn’t actually heat the water. So what is “heat force?”
I don’t know about this one in particular, but in carpet cleaners I’ve had in the past that talk about this, you have to put hot water in the supply tank. Not really a huge deal because it does handle the fact you’re running hot water through it and it is usually still pretty warm for the amount of time you’re going to be using it.
They recommend WARM not HOT water. I just looked up Heatforce and apparently to blows warm air into the carpet when extracting the water to dry it quicker. Has nothing to do with the cleaning part of the operation
Bought one of these last month. I have two dogs that add to the cleaning problems and this carpet cleaner did a great job. Carpet looks great AND smells great.
Ahhhh…I wonder how effective that is.
Ours arrived this week, and I just got it set up. Put water in the tank, and inserted it firmly into place (all per instructions), and water immediately starts pouring out of the bottom of the machine.
Hi there. Double check how everything seats on the water tank. Mine had a tricky little flap thing on the back that wasn’t in the right place.
If that doesn’t work, you might contact Hoover for some ideas. All else fails, reach out to Woot Customer Service. From a browser, use the Woot Customer Service form. In the Woot App, choose Account from the bottom navigation and then Support.

Arrived Tuesday, wife unboxed it and was overjoyed. Put it all together today and used it in our pet room. It leaked immediately from the bottom between the wheels. Anything I should look for or should I return it? She’s pretty bummed because she’s been asking for one for months and I finally found the right one, or so I thought. ![]()

Looking around on Google. One person said to make sure you push the container all the way down into the holder. Another said to make sure the washer is in place.
Put mine together the day it arrived. Water pours out the bottom. I don’t see any washers or flaps or anything to adjust. Hoover is difficult to contact, but they did finally respond to one of my requests today. Not with any information, but with their own request for a copy of my receipt. Not a good experience so far.
@txgoddess75 I had good success with Hoover customer service. I tried calling at first, but the automated system gave me the impression I might do better with another method. I had no idea how long email would take, or how much back-and-forth there would be, so I used the online chat feature. They responded quickly and we and went over the issue together. After verifying that the water wasn’t leaking from a seal, a replacement was put in process. They did ask for a copy of the receipt, but only after they sent the confirmation that a replacement was going to be sent.
I just chatted with Linda H. from Hoover and they told me to return it to Woot.
