How many pancakes in a short-stack?
I believe they prefer to be called ‘little stacks’.
Oh yeah now I’m hungry at midnight

"There are difficulties in everything except in eating pancakes.” C.H. Spurgeon (1834-1892)
Apparently he didn’t forsee the difficulties moderns would have at defining a stack. Simpler times of 1800 England: eat the pancakes and don’t bring math into this.
Don’t know, they don’t last long enough on my plate for me to care. But here’s a nice photo of some pancakes with fruit.

Goes with yesterday’s bacon or sausage poll.
I said 3 but it looks like it is flipping 4 maybe?
I feel like the size of the cake must also be taken into consideration in judging the stack size. My first thought was two, but I expect red-blooded American dinner plate sized cakes. A reasonable six inch cake could go 3 or 4, maybe even 5 by some standards, and still be short. If one were to attempt stacking silver dollars, well first, you would want to go with a Sears Tower cigarette build, but anything under a dozen total would still be “short” imo. Surely.
I told 'em there were four!
With some whipped butter and warm syrup. TBO (taste buds orgasm) in the making.
Three but also I think I’ve seen two (like if they are big pancakes).
I made pancakes last night and have two in the work fridge waiting for lunch…
Who are we kidding, they’ll be gone by 9.
