Remember your audio books, music, games, and porn subs too!
13-17 depending on the season, apparently, because I just counted. Thanks, woot! Also, I donāt have to pay for NPR, but I do. I feel like it should count.
Not a TV watcher. Amazon Prime Music for Music & Podcasts.
Just my SiriusXM that is covered under my lifetime XM Radio subscription. That was bought nearly 20 years ago.
The only reason have any streaming service is because it was forcefully bundled with the other service against my will.
Does Prime count if I only use it for free shipping?
If not, then the number is zero. If so, the number is one.
- Amazon Prime & Netflix. We mostly use Prime.
We delay shipping on many things we order and get $1.50 to $3 for movie rentals or purchases. That has paid for streaming lots of new movies.
Iām not holding any but I am subscribed to 3:
Disney+ because evil reigns supreme and I like the Star Wars stuff (not the Boba Fett stuffā¦)
Discovery+ because Iām a nerd and need Mythbusters and Mysteries at the Museum
Amazon Prime because it ships āfor freeā
Well now I have to pee.
NPR has a policy of always making their stuff available for free. For podcasts, you can get them with sponsorships (ads) for free, or pay a modest premium to get them without the sponsorships. They absolutely count.
Too many, but every time I think about dropping one, it seems like a new season of a show I enjoy is announcedā¦
Netflix
Amazon Prime
Hulu
Peacock
PBS Passport
NPR station contributions
Looking at usage patterns in the house, Hulu may get dropped soon. Itās not like I canāt pick it back up.
Max, BritBox, PBS Passport, Peacock, Paramount+, Prime Video. Dropped crappy Netflix.
One.
I thought it was zero, but forgot about Prime video, which I needed to watch a Thursday night game last year. So just the one.
The one & only one I have is F1 TV. Itās great.
If Amazon Prime counts, then 1, but Iāve honestly had that account since before streaming was a thing (I think) soā¦
Wouldnāt have Netflix in my home if it were free. I donāt believe a company should create a documentary on kiddie porn by creating kiddie porn. Iām just weird that way.
Paid for Hulu for about 6 months⦠then realized I never used it, so thatās gone. Have never subscribed to any of the other ones.
