Does this come with Windows 8 installed? is ppt, excel, etc already loaded?

It comes with Windows 8.1 loaded. It does not come with Microsoft Office. You will need to buy that separately.

The crappy 1366 x 768 on a big 15.6" screen kills this for me. Apart from that, seems like a decent config. Looking for a refurb (preferably 14") with better screen res. Any ideas?

does anyone know what “Multi-format digital media card reader for Secure Digital cards” means? That it can read regular, micro, and mini-SD cards, or that it can read a wider variety of cards than just SD in different sizes?
