No picture of ports, so here’s the support page from HP listing all the ports and other details:
This unit has the 35W 8700T CPU, which is a decent performer but isn’t quite as fast as its 65W sibling. It’s still more than enough for most things you’d want to do with an office PC.
This has the specs I want. I wonder if it will take Linux well?
I had problems installing Linux over my last Windows 11 computer–some kind of security during the boot sequence prevented me from running the install ISO image.
In the system BIOS, disable “secure boot”. Otherwise you will not be able to boot a different OS.
(Note that I am not staff. I just volunteer to help out on the forums.)
Yep!
@squidward For HP BIOS access it’s usually the F10 key while booting. Here’s a guide:
Choose the section called “Secure Boot settings for commercial notebooks and workstations” as this unit is considered a commercial workstation.
No optical drive, no sale!
We use stock photos so best to go by our specs.
Is it wall-mountable? It’s kind of hard to tell by the stand itself. Is there a VESA mount behind it?
I think so but you’d have to buy an optional kit.

OpenSuSE works well, even with Secure Boot enabled. The PC BIOS will ask you to accept the OpenSUSE key when booting from the ISO the first time you try to install. It will work perfectly afterwards. I believe other distros do something similar.
