Where’s the picture(s) of the back(s)?

We use stock photos and often the back photos don’t match what we’re selling. You should go by the specs.

Could you guys specify if the SSD is M.2 or SATA? On one listing it does say but on this one it does not, but it does say it has an M.2 slot for SSD on the motherboard, which makes me wonder “is that how the current SSD is connected?”

Valid question - It would be nice to know if the SSD is populating the M.2 slot, or is a 2.5” drive…

However, please note that M.2 is a form factor, and can be either NVMe or SATA, which are protocols. That will partially depend on the key of the drive in use, and the compatibility and key of motherboard in use. Even with Skylake, or sixth gen Intel, it was not particularly common to have SATA M.2 drives, but it is possible, and it could be significantly slower than NVMe drives, which leverage much higher bandwidth (derived from PCIe, rather than SATA signaling) to achieve potentially 6x speed differences (accounting for Skylake only having PCIe gen 3.0x4 lanes available in this case).

Cheers!

Hello. These are SATA.
