This has good ratings in general for a no frills bike. Good price.
W/O power it is still easy to ride so no problems getting home.
Does well on flat & gently graded areas but may not have the power or brakes for higher inclines.
Power lasts for 2-4 hrs of riding depending on use.
The size is “Large” with 19 in steel frame and people under 5’ 6" have noted issues. Wonder if a bike shop could lower the seat? Some have either changed the seat or padded it for comfort.
A few comments on blown tubes in the 1st month so may just want to install some new ones.
Bike itself is 20#s, battery 8#s & motor 10#s = 38#s total.
I read the blurb though 4 times could not find how to charge it just that it is powered by 250 Watt/36 Volt Ride Assist & Throttle that was repeated 3 times but not how to charge am I wrong in assuming that it is rechargeable.

It comes with the charger. I would opine that will require electricity. Perhaps you’ll need to plug it into a wall socket.
The black thing that goes where the water bottle holder used to go is a battery. You can plug it in while it’s on the bike or unlock it and take it in your house to charge it.
It’s a really pretty color. I ordered the open box one but had to return it. Anyway, this thing has thin tires. Like the ones they used to put on 10 speed bikes in the 90s. The ones with the curled handle bars? Yeah. If you’re only going to ride on pavement it’ll be ok.
Yes, this is not a trail bike.
Altho in some cities the pot holes/broken pavement/cobblestones can add interest to your ride.

Thank you Pepper I will choose to not get it we have a bike path that is rough in some of the not yet connected loops it is all most 50 miles long plus 100s of miles of mountain and lake trails that are only partly paved if you are lucky and thought this would help with part of it but we are a wide tire kinda family and if we take it up to the trails it would be useless.
I ended up getting a fat tire bike too. This one would have been fine but we do have some new trails here. I wasn’t thinking about those when I ordered this.
This has no fenders or mud guards.
The 19" is the actual frame size itself, so there will be limits to how much the saddle can be lowered.
The one on Amazon did. (also $500ish) Also a light.

This bike only comes with a light, not a mudguard
