I have this and the black is black. I think it runs slightly on the small side.

Does it have any mention on the garmet or the tags that may have been on it about it being water proof?

It did not and I would guess it is not waterproof. It’s just a cute, lightweight jacket, slightly lined (you’ll see what I mean), and for that price I promise you will love it.
