Bought this on Kickstarter a few years ago. I wasn’t impressed. The price I paid as a Kickstarter was $99.00. It’s now on Woot for $29, what does that tell you? (besides I got ripped off). It worked but I felt there was pressure on the USB inputs on my Macbook. I wasn’t comfortable using it. There are better devices I felt out there. Good Luck
You didn’t get ripped off, you knew what you were buying. That’s how things work for early adopters using kickstart . Besides accessories always cost more and very likely are not any better for apple. Maybe choose a PC next time?
BTW this priced right IMO
Has nothing to do with the original HyperDrive for Macintosh - the first internal hard disk available for a Mac, at a price of $2195 to $2795.
I remember seeing the original Hyperdrive advertised in computer magazines back in the day, long before I had a PC.
Since General Computer is defunct now I suppose the name “Hyperdrive” can be used again.
I love having cords everywhere on my desktop.
I was about to pull the trigger on this one too. Shame it sounds like it’s too good to be true
