Forty dollar ice.
The “fasting ice” sounds enticing.
This unit look very similar to a Frigidaire brand ice maker I bought on clearance from Costco for $49.97. Same specs for ice making capacity. However, the Frigidaire has an extra button to choose small or large ice cubes. It appears the Frigidaire large size cubes are the one pictured for this unit. The Frigidaire unit does not have fantastic plastic carrying handles on the sides. I’d love to know what it actually does during the self cleaning cycle.
Dang I hadn’t noticed it was just one size of cubes. Still, I think it’s worth $40 for a summer with ice…. I expect any of these to maybe break after a few months, so I have never been able to justify the usual $80-100 price.
Definitely worth the $40.
