This summer I bought one of these in White from the mothership for $10 more, specifically for a 2 week camping trip & it worked great. I was very happy with the ice retention in it, with big ice chunks leaving home & half full of frozen food, it lasted more than 6 days with still having some ice in it, all while being outside in the sun all that time. When filling it with bagged cubes from the store after those 6 days, it lasted 3+ days per bag typically. I have now bought this one so I have a separate food & drink cooler that both can keep things cold for long camping trips. In my opinion, there is no reason to spend more on the yellow one offered here or on any of the colors they have on the mothership.
