Yep, selling for $15 for one cable on the mothership.
Great cable, I’d buy another if I didn’t buy 3 last time
Registered the product for free lifetime support, too.
Anyone know if these are usb 2 or 3? The description doesn’t specify
Checked the mothership.
Connector Type
Usb 3.0
Bought as backup cable for a Samsung A50 phone charger’s odd setup, USB-A into charger & USB-C into phone. Impressive packaging & build quality regardless of price, but totally unexpected for this price. If you need it … get it!
What makes these so special/good?
Please…
15w charging capability, which is considerably faster than most USB-A to USB-C cables , but also needs a capable adapter. USB 3.0 also allows for a lot faster data transfer rates. Im pretty sure it’s a 5Amp cable too. Pretty much as good as it gets without using a double sided USB c cable, and great for those of us who haven’t switched yet to USB C wall adapters
First, the price certainly makes it “special”. As to what makes it “good” refer to what Wooter277229368 said. I’ve tried it since my last post and my phone displays the message “fast charging” as it does with my factory charging cable. But even much more expensive cables I’ve bought haven’t had the “seemingly” good build quality as I sense with this one. The cable covering is braided and the molded ends, with protective packaging covers, seem of higher quality than many. In fact, if you give any credence to the quality of a product, or a company, by how well they package their product then this one one would appear a star. Why invest so much in packaging a poor product if the user won’t experience it till after it’s been purchased? Only time will tell how well & how long the cable performs but, FWIW, I perceive it’s a quality cable based on the above info.
I had many cables that supported and charged fast from amazon and other places just to malfunction after a while from a very delicate use ( I take extreme care ) which later shows " Slow Charging / check your cable"
As you said, only time will tell.
I’ll give this one a shot from the reviews here.
Thanks to all of you for your opinions, I’m going to give this cable a try.
