ION Audio Tailgater - Bluetooth Speaker

Has anyone every purchased one of these? I am wondering how it sounds, especially with using it with my laptop.

Might be interested but wonder about portability. How much does it weight?

I have one of these, i use it on the jobsite when i prewire houses. I love it. Its great sounding, and provides just enough bass. Im also a DJ, so it’s no powerhouse compared to professional equipment, but its great for everyday rocking out. It weighs about 10 pounds, and hold a charge for a good 8 hour day. I always leave mine plugged in at night, so im not sure how long it would last till the battery would die. Overall, i highly recommend this!!

Ok what is the size & dimension of this speaker??

Wow! These guys REALLY do not want anyone to know the dimensions of the product, the weight, the size of the speaker, or the power the amplifier supplies. Quite unusual.

Found this on the Amazon product page:

“With a powerful 6.5-inch 2-way speaker in a computer-optimized bass reflex enclosure, driven by 50 watts of dynamic power…”

Of course, no mention of peak or RMS, so I’d assume that’s peak.

I’m a high school teacher who runs a lot of events. I own a slightly larger model of this.I bought it because I thought it might be a useful thing to have. If nothing else, you can use it as a portable PA. I have been shocked at how often it gets used. It’s not for a large event but if you host a lot of parties or smaller events and rehearsals (under 50 people) then this is great and doesn’t cost much. If you ever need something to play music for more than a few people, you will find this very handy.

Go the product page on Amazon. There is a video which shows someone carrying this with one hand.

I have the big brother of this one, purchased a few years ago at Costco. Love the sound, the rolling wheels, and I’ve always received rave reviews when I bring it to parties or events. I’ve been eyeing the baby brother with the strobe light on top at Costco but this one is a better option for me. I want something to bring to the beach, to football tailgates, and other times when I need a more portable option but bigger sound than a small bluetooth speaker.

Is it permissible voltage of this product is 120v?
Or is volt-free (120 ~ 240v)?

I shared this in a few Facebook groups for Dance Teachers and they started a buying frenzy! They were so happy I shared! Many had previously bought for a higher price elsewhere! Miss Kim

Does anyone know if you can link/pair two of these together to play from one bluetooth device?

Dont think you can link 2 of them wirelessly. With a y-splitter from radio shack or walmart from your source, and two mono cables into the aux ports you can link them

This appears not to be the current generation of this product. However, its prob fine.

if you read the specs, it would help.

To be fair, I think those were just added.

Dims and weight:

9 x 12 x 13 inches
10 pounds

To the beach? That’s why the good Lord invented earbuds. I’d rather hear the surf than anyone else’s choice of music.

I teach physical education, and I’m wondering if this will provide enough sound to fill a typical basketball court-sized gymnasium? Love to have music playing, but haven’t found a good, portable option yet. Thanks!

I’m with sstrungis. Hearing everyone that wants to play this in their backyard on the other review sites also makes me cringe. Do they really think neighbors want to hear their taste in music all day/night? Pretty rude in my book.
