1 question, 1 observation:
Does refurbed means that the batteries have been replaced? I’m hoping yes but betting no. If not, budget time for that.
Storage listed in specs is not consistent with item description (32GB or 128GB vs 128 or 256 in specs). I’m assuming the splash page description is right and it’s either 32GB or 128GB, per the pull down menu.
The iPhone 7 is even harder to change the battery than the six, so instead of myself for $20 I have to take it to a store for $120.
Unless the gamble pays off and these are returned phones not used ones.
Battery has not been replaced in these refurbs, although they are in working condition.
Thanks for the callout on the second point! You’re correct that today we are only selling the 32 and 128 gig versions - this has been corrected on the listing.
Does GSM Unlock means it will work with Verizon / LTE (and was an AT&T or T-Mobile phone before unlocking)?
Unlocked to work with GSM. Verizon is CDMA.
Is this certified refurbished?
Does it come with the original packaging?
what is the warranty on this?
Will the IOS actually be ios 10 or is that just a standard spec sheet when they first came out
Apple has 3 new phones coming out in the fall
Standard spec. It will be at the OS version the previous owner left it.
90 day woot.
We list the warranties at the bottom of our features.
- No, these are third-party refurbs
- It does not
- Warranty is 90 Day woot limited warranty per the listing. These are S&D phones, so there’s no manufacturer’s warranty.
I’m not sure what iOS will be loaded on the phones when you receive it, but the 7 supports the most recent releases and will automatically prompt you for an update if needed when you set up the phone.
That’s probably true, but buying one of those will set you back $800-1000, and more importantly, won’t put food on my table!!
Does the phone have a shutter click sound when using the camera that cannot be turned off, like phones from Japan?
Hi, is this iPhone 7 fully GSM unlocked?
Yes, these phones can be used with any GSM network, although you will need to update the phone’s APN settings to match your carrier of choice.
These are US phones, so there shouldn’t be any issues like this.
Are you sure about that? My understanding is that unlocked GSM iphones can work on Verizon’s LTE network just fine.
My understanding is that Apple builds all their phones to work on both systems so their chip handles both Verizon and ATT. Telling you it is a GSM phone only is bullshit.
