Hey now, don’t be talking so mean about my fiancee

At least “ain’t” is the historically correct contraction.
It was brought up. By you. On the very same page.
Also, Mr. Green. In the library. With the revolver.
hee.
Short-term memory loss. Or a senior moment. Take your pick.
Still don’t understand. Bob is the fiance of Jill. Jill is the fiancee of Bob.

Feel free to scroll down to Origin and Usage Note. I could probably dig up more if you want, but there’s nothing I could find that you couldn’t.
I was a delivery driver for years. On the invoice of one customer always read (city libary). It was that way for years. Never corrected.

So was it a berry that lied to the city? Or a city berry that lied? Or the lie the city always told to the berry?
I had a training meeting yesterday and a coworker kept saying simular (instead of similar). ACK!
Then I came home and told my daughter about it, and she said her CNA teacher always says something wrong, but she couldn’t remember what it was. Then suddenly she texts me this afternoon “cooshins”(cushions). LOL
I have another coworker that wrote sale instead of sell on a spreadsheet, I made her read it out loud (where she pronounced it sell). Then I told her she was wrong that word was sale, and she should have written sell and spelled it for her. This was a spread sheet that I have spent a lot of time on, so for her to do that made me cringe.
Forgot about this thread…
Heard earlier this week…

Good Day.
During a “man on the street” news interview a woman said supposably. Another ugh.
