Does anyone know if the built-in water filtration can be bypassed? For example, the graphics show washing the dog with soapy water (don’t want to filter out soap); there are times I want to mix up some plant fertilizer or bug-be-gone soap mix, and get a nice low-volume rain-like distribution… also would be nice to confirm it’s possible to rinse out the LAST batch of fluids pumped out…
You don’t want your beaver cleaner all clogged up do you?
Maybe try one of the many inexpensive garden hose attachments that are provided for plant fertilizers and the like? I imagine there might be one for washing your “dog” as well…is there a nearby pet supply available?
I think the thought of clean beavers is clouding your thought process. Where am I wrong here?
Oh. Sure. Like I have the time to edit your birthday boc post and photoshop in a letter so the people of Woot send you a pallet or twelve of beaver baths.
Nope. Just not enough time in the day.
Ahem.
(Please Note: I’m not employed by Woot, but I volunteer to help in the forums.)
My justification for this has to do with the energy curve of dragging hoses around; between 50 and 150 feet from the house, using a hose sucks. Yeah, a 5 gallon bucket of fertilizer solution will weigh 40 pounds or so, but it isn’t tethered to some point on a wall. And with a hose full of water, dragging that weight adds up too. I’ll happily carry twice as much to only have to make one trip, but that has limits. This will work…
Every so often I get calls, people asking if I’m interested in selling, mostly stuff I don’t own. SOMETIMES, in that case, I may get a little squirrely about “okay, so how much are you offering?”
A long, long time ago in a far away land we had to use a solar bag filled with water to stand under when attached to a tree branch (or held) to shower when camping/backpacking/hiking and people wonder why I am so traumatized by my youth
Bought this last week - took a camping for the Perseid meteor showers. Worked like a charm! I even got a black 5 gallon bucket so the water would warm up a little quicker. Did not have to recharge the shower at all for the week that we were camping.
