I've used my fire hazard CPSC* walking treadmill to run into a refund brickwall

I absolutely detest posting here knowing it says Customer service does not monitor here, but open to suggestions for assistance. I am well past one lunar cycle waiting for an approved refund for a recalled murder treadmill and I think that my support emails are now going up in flames like said treadmill has a risk of doing.

My emails started 7/14, refund was approved immediately and advised it would hit the original form of payment in a few business years (I mean days), and it never did. After waiting in the vestibule of patience for -insert Sponge Bob meme here- days, I was told the order was too old to refund the original form of payment and that I could get a Woot! credit or a refund check. On 7/31 I was advised magical paper that will give my bank account money was on the way in 2-3 days.

On 8/15 I poked that the ever reliable United States Postal Service has yet to grace my mailbox with magic paper. I have received no further reply from Dearest Woot, whom I must assume has decided to end this relationship and move on to another lover, maybe someone less stingy about getting back a Franklin and almost two Hamiltons. As the great Andy Samberg and Chris Parnell once said on a Lazy Sunday, It’s all about the Hamiltons baby, and I could use the equivalent of 12 Hamiltons in my bank account soon.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER -ET (not the Extra Terrestrial)

  :sob:

I passed this on to Woot staff to look at.

(Please note: I don’t work for Woot, I just volunteer to help out here on the forums.)

Hey there. Thank you for being so cool about this and not all rage quity. It’s greatly appreciated.

I’ve sent a note to customer service to take a look in the morning so we can see what happened or get this moving.

Sorry for the time and frustration.

I received correspondence today, you have my gratitude! (Seriously thank you both @Froodyfrog and @ThunderThighs!)

While I patiently wait for the re-re-refund headed my way, I will remember fondly the lofty health goals I had for my treadmill followed by it’s almost zero usage. Which, in hindsight, possibly saved myself from bodily harm and my household from a potential fire hazard. So it all went according to plan…

You’re welcome. Sorry it took so long and caused so much frustration.

I have a similar small one that is also not being used. I had high hopes.
