I have one of these Jabra headsets at work, and it does a fantastic job.
I don’t use it, because I like to keep one ear uncovered. But, it does have wonderful sound, and the mic pics up everything you say. You mute it by raising the mic up to the ear.
I’ve got one too, from a previous Woot sale, and agree - it does a great job. I haven’t been wearing it as much because I picked up a USB speakerphone that doesn’t require wearing anything, but for over a year, this was my go-to for WFH conferences. I used it in a loud data center for a call and the noise cancellation was great, for both me and those on the other end.
One note, it uses a form of Bluetooth, so it doesn’t have the range of a DECT headset, but it is better than most Bluetooth devices.
Just curious, how do you like the speakerphone? What model? Asking because I’m considering one. TY!
This is the one I bought, and it works pretty well. It’s not for a large room or anything, and I sometimes have to unplug it and plug it back in for some Teams calls, but not sure if that’s my laptop or the device, as it always seems to work on other laptops for non-Teams calls.
