Jambu and J41 Women's Footwear

Just in case anyone was wondering about fit, I have a pair of the oceanic shoes and they fit me great. I usually wear a size 9.5 and these are true to size, and I have rather narrow feet and a high arch. If you have thick or wide feet these may not be for you.

This is a very good price. The pair I have are great quality and have lasted 2 summers now with a LOT of wear. They have a shoe similar to the Oceanic style at Costco right now, but it’s a cheaper quality than their usual and it’s still $30. I looked at a pair at Nordstrom Rack that were $59.99

Thanks for the input tracquv! It helps me allot with sizing.

I just put my pair on to double check before ordering a pair of the open toe sandals. To clarify, the heel and arch/ mid foot are not that narrow but the toe box is where a wide foot would be cramped. An open toe sandal might work better. If there are no half sizes I would order up, a 9 would be too short on me but I’m hoping a 10 will still work for the brown strappy sandal.

I have a pair of the Tahoe in my normal sneaker size and they fit great with bare feet or really thin socks. I wore them on a 5 mile trek through Washington DC with the socks to avoid potential blisters. Otherwise, I wear them sans socks.

EDIT: also, one of the reasons I chose the Tahoe style was the arch support. LOVE it!

I am hoping the Shasta sandal has the support it appears to have because I really need a nicer pair of sandals (ie not nylon sport style) with enough support, and they are hard to find for my shape foot. Since I have this brand and they fit great in a shoe I’ll cross my fingers and pull the trigger. I’m also buying the Tahoe in the sand color. For this price I can’t pass it up. It passes my “if I saw them in a real life store would I buy them” test.

How come my comment on these shoes being the pinnacle of ugly footwear was removed? Is that not an acceptable comment/critique.
If someone said a device you were selling had terrible hardware would that get removed? I see no difference between a comment like that and a comment on terrible aesthetic features.

Probably because of the jerk nature of your comment. It would be better to say “I don’t like the look/style/color of these shoes at all.” Which is also a useless comment as far as helping others know about the shoes, since they can see the shoes themselves, but you aren’t being a jerk about it anymore.

You raise some good points. I mean, people obviously can see clothing for themselves. However, have you ever been to your local suburban grocery store? These people saw their clothes before the purchase, but are obvioulsy aesthetically challenged. They need someone to help them see the light.

Leading to…some people may not realize how ugly these shoes are because they’re blinded by the functionality of the product and the “great deal” aspect.

People are only supposed to wear these hiking in the woods right? Crossing streams by foot? On a mountain? Only the full shoe version? Not the sandals version? Not actually in public or anything?

Well, you changed MY mind. Ordering three pairs right now.

Sure do wish you offered the 1/2 sizes. I went and tried these at a store so I could figure out what fit… and I need that 1/2 size, especially for the sandals. Sigh. They are cute! And they didn’t have the lovely red which people foolishly are not snapping up. It’s a great red! (I saw it on another shoe they don’t offer here.) But no Jambu for me from you. Had to pay full price. :frowning:

I don’t know that anyone reads these once the sale is over, but I wanted to say i LOVE these! I’ve never seen these in a store so was taking a chance on the fit but based on reviews elsewhere they sounded like pretty great shoes (and these were some pretty great prices) so I bought 3 pair. Luckily they all fit, YES! The 1st time I wore the runner vegan with the yellow/kiwi I got 2 compliments and “where did you get those shoes! They are great!” They’ve needed a little bit of “breaking in” but are very comfy. Really really happy with these. If Woot ever gets them again, i’ll be back!
