I see this item has a 1 year manufacturer warranty but JBL told me Woot is not an authorized dealer. So that being said, they will not honor this warranty. Am i missing something or is the product information wrongly stated?
Hi there. Our vendor buys directly from JBL and as part of Amazon, we would qualify as an authorized reseller. You might try a different rep? I haven’t heard of issues with JBL warranties.
I purchased this speaker and is shipping now. My UPS account show this item being shipped from a company named VERDI COMMERCE LLC. Upon looking it up, i see they offer refurbished products but only carry a 90-day warranty. This item on Woot! specifically says 1 year manufacture warranty included. Upon receiving the item, i am going to register it on JBL to see if the warranty is valid. If it isn’t, is that an acceptable excuse to return it to Woot! ? Thanks
Hi there. They also source new items for their customers. We’ve had no issues with JBL warranties but you don’t need an excuse to return. You have a 30-day return window regardless.
