This seemed great until I read about the 5 hour battery life. Not very practical to use as a surround sound option in your family room if you have to change the batteries every 5 hours of TV/movie watching.

Seems like the JBL marketing team don’t understand what to do with this product at all. I’m not sure, either.

Is anyone else concerned about the possibility of fire resulting from leaving li-ion (or ni-cad) batteries on 24/7 charge (i.e. the speaker plugged in) over a long period of time (probably years)?

Are these “All Weather” speakers? ie. Are they meant to live outdoor?

This is an extraordinary deal period. These speakers have great sound. I have the non bluetooth version of these control 1’s and love them. Have several pairs or I would add a set of these at this price. Did someone actually make a negative comment about the 5 hour battery life??? Perhaps They have never heard of an a/c cord before. Geez. Snap these baby’s up, you will not be sorry!
