Great deal. $35 on the mothership.

This is a great deal I have hand pounded steel woks that my daddy left me there was a big push in the 80’s when American “first” started using them in the mid 90’s you could find top dollar woks at flea markets and yard sales and daddy never saw a good wok he could walk away from so I got a lot of them. I have never used a cast iron wok do you know the difference? I assume you can get it smoking hot and it won’t warp only the very best steel woks don’t warp. Do you have any experience with these? Or are you just a lover of woks?

I have a steel wok, but I am tempted by the cast iron. You will boost your iron intake with every tasty morsel.

@therealjrn has the mostest experience with woks. Maybe he can say yeah or neah on cast iron…

I can’t speak to the cast iron wok. I’ve only used steel woks. I do like cooking with cast iron tho.

We purchased this wok off Woot awhile back. Do not remember if we paid $24.99. Thought it was less.

We have used it on a gas stove, electric stove, kamado, and on a grill.

It works great to make stir-fry vegetables from the garden.

You could even make soups in it.

We were cooking vegetables in it on a kamado and decided to add other herbs, soup stock, coconut cream, chilis, and shrimps (we were already grilling). It turned out pretty tasty.

We are not experts in grilling.:person_shrugging:
