I bought a pair of J3’s a while back, and one of the buds stopped working after about 3 months. I kept pretty good care of them, so I am really questioning the durability of these. Has anyone had any experiences with the newer models? If so, what do you think of their performance and durability?
I have the J5M. The left side quit working after about 1 month.
They don’t last a super long time. I usually get a few months use from a pair before one side quits. I have three or four spare sets on my shelf, I’m probably good for at least a year. The J5 sounds a lot better than the J3 and is worth the extra $3.
My wife and I both use the J6M. Had them for about 6 months now and all is good. The sound can’t be beat at $15.
I agree. I own all of the offered ones below, I think the J5 sound the best of all. All earbuds have limited lifespan, have not had any brand last more than a year or so with regular use, and I have owned a lot. The J4 are quite rugged but also much bulkier.
