We bought one of these off Woot last year. We really like it and haven’t had any problems with it. It was surprisingly easy to put together (my wife did it alone) and we even moved it to a new house and re-assembled it with no issues. There are a few small complaints including no operating manual (I have yet to figure out the “sound system” or it doesn’t work) and an expensive proprietary bulb that we didn’t think was worth the price. Otherwise we use it 2-3/week and we’re happy with it. How many people can say they have a sauna in their bedroom?
External, assembled dimensions are 74 inches in height, 47.25 inches wide, and 39.5 inches deep. My installation requires 3 additional inches on the left side (when facing the door) to accommodate the electrical receptacle and cord.
The unit is not designed to be in the weather like a steam sauna might. If it is placed in a covered area where it isn’t being rained on it should be OK.
From the vendor: JNH saunas are designed to go indoors. We recommend that you place your sauna somewhere dry and avoid places that are wet or have moisture. We recommend your bedroom, home gym, or bathroom.
I was searching for a sauna for several months and finally decided on this one. I read several reviews and was pleasantly surprised when I received and set mine up. Here are some quick points:
-Set up was simple and I took care of it on my own
-The speakers are basic but better than I expected
-Solid build
I use mine outside (bought a custom cover to keep it water proof) and it does take a bit to warm up. I would not expect there to be any issues if it were in door.
The best part is that when I move, I can simply unhook the latches and take it with me. Very happy with my purchase!
