I got mine a couple days ago. The Mist interface is way overkill for even a “prosumer” wannabe geek like myself. It was worth it to experience an enterprise level device — especially at Woot’s pricing. Once the Mist trial subscription lapses, I will simply use it as a “dumb” access point. I won’t even be able to change the SSID or password without it.
Oh, yeah: Device was totally new, factory sealed yada yada. Manufacturing date: September 2023.
