Juniper AP63 Outdoor Wireless Access Point

Juniper AP63 Outdoor Wireless Access Point

This is an amazing deal on an enterprise-grade access point. However, note since it is enterprise grade, it wants/needs enterprise level support.

From Grok:
“It requires Juniper Mist Cloud management (their subscription-based platform). You get a 90-day free trial, but after that, it’s roughly $100–$150 per year per AP (or more depending on features). People hack around it by creating new orgs every 90 days for “testing,” but that’s not ideal long-term.”

Wondering if there are any permanent hacks…

I could not find any community firmware to flash over it. Also it’s meant to be a cloud based AP so there’s not even a local console to configure it if you don’t have a valid lic.

Thank you for looking and letting me (and others) know!

The ap will supposedly retain the configurations even after your trail expires, you’ll just need to start a new one up to reconfigure it again if that falls outside the period.
