That C2 is honestly a garbage keyboard. Don’t bother with it. I bought one and had to order a replacement because one of the keys was intermittent. The replacement was no better, with a different key or two that would work when it wanted.. Hard pass on the Keychron switches.
These aren’t hot-swappable either right? No getting out of it with new switches.
A quick search says they’re actually hot-swappable.
(FWIW, that was the fix for a couple of my thrifted mechanical keyboards. I stopped bothering, however, what with having bought new keebs for less than what thrift stores charge nowadays.)
There’s a few models of C2 Pro, but only the C2P-M1 (RGB version) is hot-swappable. The model isn’t in the description, but if the ASIN and feature list are to be believed, this appears to be the C2P-K1 (white backlight only) which is unfortunately not hotswappable.
Keychron is kind of notorious for inconsistent and confusing product lines lmao
Was looking into it because I was looking for a full-sized board to put clicky switches on, but not if I have to solder them
