How many lumens is the light? Didn’t know incandescent lights were still being sold, because the LED lights are usually much higher efficiency in terms of lumens per watt. 20W should be about 1600 lumens if it’s like LED efficiency.
Yes, the G8 lights like this type are still made, for replacement in existing fixtures. Yes, LED are more efficient, so new fixtures use them. These lights are probably “new old stock”, that are being liquidated. I’d estimate one 20w xenon lamp would produce about 10% of the lumens you note, or 160 maybe 200 lumens at the most. LED lamp lumens per watt is much higher, which is why they’re energy efficient.
These fixtures are probably best for someone replacing their existing lighting. One could swap them out without needing to rewire, etc. That’s why I bought some. One fixture already arrived. Its really nice. Actually much nicer than my original lights. They seem to be commercial quality and well made.
