I have bought two scratch and dent kindles from Woot. The first had scratches on the bezel, maybe from a bad case, and a clean reading surface. The more recent one had multiple scratches on the reading surface, one was deep. They aren’t really noticeable when the light is on.
(Just in case anyone was curious.)
I consider them to both be good deals.
But these are refurbs, right? Not scratch and
dents? They could be great deals if I wasn’t so lazy to look them up on the app.
Everytime I see these Kindles here I am so tempted to get a newer model, but my 2015 Kindle is still plugging away.
A 2015 Kindle Paperwhite was my first lighted Kindle. Several Wooters purchased one for me so that I was able to read at night and not disturb my mother when she was sleeping at her nursing home. It was one the nicest gifts I’ve ever received and I think of these generous people every time I read from a Kindle.
Cheap one is S&D, expensive one is refurb.
I like the warm light and the flat screen. I always had crumbs stuck in the corners of my older one.
I bought two scratch and dent phones from them a Pixel 3 and a Note 9 and I barely saw any scratches or dents at all.
So sample size of two is still pretty insignificant but … They both had roughly 87% battery health too which was acceptable They both had roughly 87% battery health too which was acceptable
Question: if it says “Lock Screen ads included,” does that mean there’s no option to pay to turn them off? Just wondering what it would take to not have lock screen ads on one of these.
Hello. You can pay to turn them off. Here’s more info:
