Yup.
Amazon Pay took me out of the app without my dum dum self realizing and I was able to the midnight deal at full price!
Sent an email and went to bed. Customer Service took care of the refund quickly by the time I woke up. No trash bags this time for ol’ Schlitty. It’s always the ones that got away you remember most…
They cancelled your order?
You should have been able to keep the other and get the difference refunded.
There may be hope. I see the refund but not a cancel. I doubt they could cancel it anyway with things shipping so quick right now out of Amazon warehouses.
I was talking to Narf about this yesterday.
They couldn’t cancel an order less than 40 minutes after it was placed.
He speculated it’s because of the 2 day shipping.
Yes, expedited shipping means no cancelations.
Just noticed this:
PLEASE NOTE: You will not be able to cancel your order once placed. Expedited orders can’t be canceled because they’re released immediately for processing.
I should probably learn to read more.
That note was added about 7.5 minutes ago.

Think that answers the reality-check question “I see a full refund AND the product is ‘shipping now’…” i.e. my quick-to-cancel move didn’t actually do anything. Gorsh, kinda like our system of governance - put in enough speed-bumps and we DO (aggravatedly) benefit…

If you want the refund, you’re gonna have to write in. Our query to look up the orders failed like most things in life.
