Why does this one have a “Q” at the end of the model number? Can’t find this on the KitchenAid website with this model number.
I’m not sure but it’s listed that way on Amazon if that helps anything.
(Please note: I don’t work for Woot, I just volunteer to help out here on the forums.)
Hi there. No idea but it’s pulled from Amazon inventory and as noted above, that’s how it’s listed there.
They can be a bit to get right, but they work pretty well!
Can this thing spiral cut potatoes???
From the KitchenAid website reviews (without the q on the end)
I borrowed a friends last fall to make apple pie slices. Couldn’t beleive how fast, easy and well it did the job! This was top on my wish list. First thing I made was curly fries. I was having so much fun, I cut the whole 5 lb bag.
So I reached out to kitchenaid and asked them directly. This is what they said.
Agent Sarah said Thank you for holding. The attachment model number KSM2APC is the item that KitchenAid sells directly. The model number KSM2APCQ is an item that only QVC sells. QVC usually has the exact same attachments as KitchenAid, but usually comes with an accessory that kitchenaid shop does not offer to make a bonus offer or specialty item.
Woohoo, maybe a bonus item - thank you for checking!!
Ohh… like special Costco items have a C at the end of their model numbers!
