@ThunderThighs are these actually heated?

They say they are Outdoor “Heated” Cat Houses but I don’t see any information about the heating sytem or electrical plugs.

I have a heated outdoor cat dog house, it uses a heated pad that is in the floor of the house. Not sure if it’s the same but mine has a cardboard like piece that is the plush bottom of the house for the animal to rest, and a heating pad.

Nice catch! The strays I feed are very interested in this!

Mine is on the way, but I am thinking heated = self warming. Like the self-warming mats with the mylar inside.

My kitty was a stray and is still an outdoor cat. Her first house was a storage container that I insulated and put mylar to reflect heat back.

This is from reviews, it looks like reflective insulation, so self heating.

Hi there. These are being pulled from Amazon inventory so we don’t have a lot of information. Here it is on Amazon:

I don’t see anything that actively heating about it but I could be missing something.

I will put this together this weekend. Along with my Aerogarden.

UPDATE: there is nothing heating or self-heating about this. The inside looks exactly like the outside. It isn’t bad, especially for something outdoors. It attaches with strong velcro and you can always add your own insulation for warmth. It is very lightweight and you’ll probably want to weigh it down or else it might blow away. I put it together in a few minutes and took it apart just as quickly.

I’d buy it again, in the $25 or less price range.
