Each piece is about 1/3 of an ounce so about $75 a pound for these chocolates.
Yikes!
Thank You!
Just glancing I thought it was $40 for 2 boxes of 25 pcs.
It’s for your choice of ONE box of 25.
They’re still selling, tho’.
If you’re concerned about per pound chocolate prices, go get your crap in the baking aisle of Aldi, bruh.
This box seems to be comparable to one I found on W-S website for $69.99, except the box isn’t as fancy. Below are more detailed descriptions of the flavors. I’m buying a box to refill my wooden Advent calendar, although I may need a replacement for the “Ana Carlota” flavor!
Hannah: Caramel enrobed 71% Ecuadorian single-bean dark chocolate, topped with Hawaiian sea salt.
Jeanette: Garden mint infused white chocolate ganache in white chocolate.
Patricia: Tangerine and ancho chile white chocolate ganache in 71% Ecuadorian single bean dark chocolate.
Viva: 71% Ecuadorian single bean dark chocolate bonbon.
Aurora: Milk chocolate with hazelnut milk chocolate ganache.
Asta: Elderflower jam and milk chocolate ganache in 71% Ecuadorian single-bean dark chocolate.
Eva: Rosemary-infused caramel in milk chocolate, topped with mushroom salt.
Kelly: Strawberry and lemon thyme white chocolate ganache in 65% house-blend dark chocolate.
Ana Carlota: Madagascar pickled green peppercorn white chocolate ganache in 71% Ecuadorian single-bean dark chocolate, topped with Cyprus black lava salt.
Amalie: Gooseberry jam and milk chocolate ganache in 48% Venezuelan single-bean milk chocolate.
Cecilia: Caramel infused with locally grown lavender in white chocolate.
Anna: Lingonberry jam and milk chocolate in 71% Ecuadorian single-bean dark chocolate
So about $15,000 per ton?
ALDI’s chocolate is far superior to American chocolate in quality, taste and price.
